ZIP code boundaries and congressional district boundaries are different. A single ZIP code can overlap multiple House districts. Use the official House district finder for the most reliable match; it may ask for more address information.
Each U.S. state has two senators. Members of the U.S. House represent geographic congressional districts, with the number of seats varying by state. D.C. and certain territories have House delegates or a resident commissioner but no U.S. senators.
Civic Signal does not ask you to create an account and does not transmit the text of your draft to our server. Drafting and copying take place in your browser. The ZIP lookup sends the ZIP code to the Zippopotam.us service to identify your state; the directory downloads public member data from the @unitedstates project. Opening official sites or using a phone link is subject to the privacy practices of those services.
Member contact buttons point to official .house.gov or .senate.gov websites listed in the public directory. Where a specific form isn't available, the button opens the member's official site instead. Offices may update their URLs, so verify the site before submitting personal information.
This directory is intended to show currently serving members, not election winners waiting to take office. House and Senate membership changes can take time to appear in public data. Check House.gov and Senate.gov if you need to confirm a recent change.
